This presentation will provide an update for employers on the current state of employee benefit plan administration in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. We will review the most recent regulatory changes for benefit plans, including COVID-related benefits that can or must be covered under group health plans, election changes and reimbursement rules under cafeteria plans, relaxed rules and deadlines related to enrollment, claims, and COBRA, and some common retirement-plan options and issues related to the pandemic. The presentation will also cover employers’ obligation to amend plan documents under certain circumstances to reflect these changes.
